How to easily launch Instagram Ads from Facebook
Written by: Monica McCoy
Are you thinking of launching ads in Instagram? In Spain over 8 million people connect to this social network each month. About 60% of those people use it to get information about products and services.
The social network continues to grow and offers solutions for advertisers. In addition, we recently found out that soon we'll be able to make purchases via Instagram without leaving the app.
How do you create ads in Instagram?
Instagram doesn't have its own ads manager, so they must be created with the same tools you use in Facebook. The benefit of this is you can manage all your ads in both social networks from one spot.
To make sure your Facebook ads also appear in Instagram you should start with the "Placements" in your Facebook ad settings.
It's worth mentioning that any advertiser who wants to advertise in Instagram should add an account to the social network in the sales manager. If not, you won't be able to respond to comments to your ad and your username in Instagram will be the same as your Facebook Page.
Characteristics of Instagram Ads
Instagram is great, cost effective advertising alternative. For now the CPC has remained quite low, although that won't last for long.
This network takes advantage of the power of attraction through images. It uses beautiful images in its ads and places high priority on the quality of the images.
Regarding the ad format, you can choose from:
Single image: Use one attractive, high quality image
Carousel: Create an ad with images. You can tell stories through your ad, generating a more emotional response.
Presentation: A relatively new option that lets you upload up to 10 images and videos. It creates a very attractive video that plays on a loop (the duration in both social networks is 50 seconds maximum).
Video: With this option you can only add a video in the format of .mov or .mp4, and the duration in Instagram is up to 60 seconds.
I hope this post was helpful for you to start considering Instagram within your Digital Marketing Strategy (if you haven't done so already).
