The creative team at IKEA recently came up with a fun and clever strategy to boost their SEO.The goal wasn't to sell, but to generate a positive reaction from people. IKEA's goal was to boost visibility in Google's search results.
IKEA created a special product page and gave each product clever names that answer Google searches. They offer new and original solutions for their users. For example, when you search "My family doesn't respect me", IKEA shows you a princess dress. And if you search "how to wake up a teenager" it shows you a screwdriver.
IKEA decided to highlight products that solve peoples' problems in a unique way. "How to have a happy relationship?" Surprise: a double bed.
